Nobel Prize in Physiology Medicine For The Year 2018 To James P. Allison and Tasuku Honjo:

The Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine had been announced today that is on 1st October 2018, Monday to cancer researchers James P. Allison and Tasuku Honjo,

Every year Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine awarded for outstanding discoveries in the fields of life sciences and medicine by Noble Foundation.

James P. Allison and Tasuku Honjo will be jointly awarded Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine award. These two individuals have been given this award for the discovery of cancer therapy through inhibition of negative immune regulation.

With this announcement, the Nobel Prize has been announced. However, this time it has been decided not to award Nobel Prize for Literature . For the first time in the last 70 years, the Nobel Prize for literature will not be given.

Nonetheless, those interested in Nobel Prizes are discussing that in view of the large number of candidates, the Nobel Prize for medicine, physics, chemistry, peace and economics will be given to people.

Only Nobel prizes can be given to living people. But there are three people who have been awarded posthumously. Firstly, in 1931, Eric Axel Carlefelt was given a Peace Prize for literature, and then thirty years later, in 1961, Doug Hammarschold was given the Peace Prize. Both of them died during the nomination and award of death. For the third time in 1974, the rule was changed since then.
